Computer is an electronic programable device that accepts data and process them as per the given set of instruction and produce meaningful information.

Working Principle of Computer.
Generally computer has three basic working principle. they are as follow
- input : Computer accepts the data and instruction from the user
- process: Computer process the data accepted form user and treat them as per the given set of instruction i.e program.
- Output : Computer produce information after processing the data enter by user which is known as output and store this information in the storage devices of the computer.
What is computer system?
Computer system means all the component of computer input units, central processing unit , output unit and storage unit are internally connected with each other so that computer can perform any task.
OR
The combination of all the peripheral devices of the computer like input devices , central processing devices, output devices and storage device so that it can perform the task is know as computer system.
Different Units of computer
- Input Unit : Those devices that are used to accept data and instruction from the user is known as input unit or input devices. like Keyboard, Mouse, Light pen etc.
- Central Processing Unit : CPU is the brain of computer which process all the data as per given set of instruction. CPU is the combination of ALU , CU , MU
- Output Unit . Those device that are used to provide information to the user after processing the data and instruction as result is known as Output device.
